James Knight of Hartlip in Kent was a blacksmith. His will was proved in the Canterbury Court in April 1801 with an estate of £300 left to his wife Amy during her lifetime then equally divided between his five children.
I wonder if he was the James Knight b1751 who married Amy Callaway b1752 in Hartlip on 9 April 1771?
